A beautiful, stunning camouflage design with large, fat green leaves, speckled with light green atop long, slender stalks.
Alocasia is a genus of tuberous, broad-leaved, perennial, flowering plants from the family Araceae. The large, cordate or sagittate leaves grow to a length of 20 to 90 cm (8 to 35 in) on long petioles. Their araceous flowers grow at the end of a short stalk, but are not conspicuous; often hidden behind the leaf petioles. ~{Wikipedia}

These prefer bright, indirect light. These are not so well with direct sunlight, they can stand maybe 1 to 3 hours but no more. They can also live outside in shaded light.
Frydeks prefer a warm, moist and humid environment, and moist, but not wet to the touch soil. Allow the soil to dry on top before watering.
Fertilize once a month during growing seasons but not during fall and winter. Use a good general water soluble fertilizer and be careful not to get it on the leaves.
Hilo Beauty will grow up to 4 foot and about 2 feet wide, with large leaves up 8 inches or larger.
These plants are toxic and must be kept away from children and pets.
