Description
Yes, these are real Coconut Palms! Grown from Cococnuts and will eventually produce them too, provided they have the room. They can produce coconuts in 15 years or more.
The coconut palm is a tall palm tree that thrives in tropical coastal areas and is known for producing coconuts, which are used for food, oil, and various other products. It is the most economically important palm species and can grow up to 30 meters tall, yielding numerous fruits each year.

Coconut Palms need a LOT of light and warmth. Full sun is best, but bright indirect light can work, better for a south or west facing window and at least some direct sun during the afternoon hours.
Moist soil, with a fair amount of sand, water when the top feels dry.
Use a palm specific liquid fertilizer year round (especially if you're growing indoors), as they do need more than most plants.
These palms can last a long time indoors. They will reach about 10' feet indoors, and up to 100' outdoors. Indoors plan for about 3' around with other items or plants.
Indoor Coconut Palms will not likely reach a size large enough to produce the fruit (unless you're VERY fortunate!) But these are synonymous with what most people think of when they think of palm trees. They make a great conversation starter and a lovely addition to any garden, giving the "tropical" feeling.
