This plant likes the light bright and direct. If it's ever looking sad, a few hours in the sunlight will likely bring it back to life.
Let it dry for a couple of days then water it. The usual schedule is about 3-4 weeks. Make sure to get the water to the bottom of the soil.
Fertilize during the spring season. Aloe Vera does better with fertilizers where the three numbers (i.e., "5-5-5") are equal, and slow release.
1 to 3 feet tall, can get larger planted outdoors in warmer climates. Aloe Vera con be kept in pots or planters, but if together try yo to imitate desert conditions. Spacing should be about 1 foot apart.
Many will not flower, but it helps if the plant's desert environment is imitated.
They are very hardy, and should look good. They live about 12 years.
